The ACS Pacesetters Security Officer of Distinction Awards took place on 24th May 2023 at Royal Windsor Racecourse.

The outstanding work of the frontline Security Officers of the members of ACS Pacesetters was celebrated on the occasion.

Figen Murray OBE was the guest speaker of the event and she also presented the Security Officer of Distinction Awards to the winners.

Seetan Varsani, Divisional Director, London, Corps Security, said: “The sun came out today and shone on the outstanding stories of all of the finalists and winners from today ACS Pacesetters Awards 2023!

“Well done to everyone – as today we got the opportunity to salute the selfless acts of bravery and conduct across our industry!

“Thank you and a huge well done to our very own Bill Boateng, from Corps Security’s flagship account Canary Wharf Group – accompanied by the very client team members Alexandra Anastasi & Emma Francis – that Bill responded to in an emergency, protecting them both from further physical assault!”

“All of the incredible acts were a reminder to the part we play in our industry; as special guest Figen Murray OBE honoured us this afternoon, as she addressed the room and spoke, with heart and passion for the change required within law in the name of protection to life,” Seetan Varsani added.

Prost8 UK, a charity working to ensure better treatment outcomes for men with prostate cancer, was also invited to the security awards lunch.

They said: “Thank you to the ACS Pacesetters for inviting us to their security awards lunch.

“We raised an incredible £2,258.00 which will go towards our first deployment.

“A special thank you to Lynda Moore for organising a great event!”
