Atalian Global Services has confirmed the sale of its UK, Ireland and Asia operations, along with its specialist automotive division Aktrion, to Clayton Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), the private investment firm that recently acquired OCS Group.
This move will create one of the world’s largest international facilities service providers and businesses will be merged over the next twelve months, opening a new chapter for the two firms.
Atalian’s Group CEO Rob Legge will become Group CEO of the newly merged businesses.
OCS Group was recently acquired by CD&R in December 2022. As per the Infologue Top 65 2022, the new company is to surpass Securitas in size and challenge Bidvest Noonan for its place in the Top 3.
At the time, OCS Group CEO, John Hunter, commented:
“I am immensely proud of the OCS business transformation and growth of the OCS FS business that we have achieved over the last 6 years. Under CD&R’s ownership, with their reputation as a business builder and extensive experience in the facilities services space, the business is now well placed to further accelerate its strategic growth ambitions. CD&R is in an excellent position to invest to continue to enhance value propositions for customers, and future opportunities for colleagues.”
