Bidvest Noonan, one of the leading UK companies in the security sector, organised a counter-terrorism conference on 27 April in the iconic Croke Park Stadium in Dublin.
Bidvest Noonan brought TINYg, a global counter-terrorism information-sharing network, to Ireland for the very first time for the conference.
The highly anticipated event was attended by a high-profile line-up of world-class counter-terrorism specialists, including a former Assistant Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service, leaders within the Irish Special Tactics and Operations Command, and a representative from the FBI.
Richard Bingley, from the TINYg Advisory Group, moderated a panel discussion with counter-terrorism experts.
Former Assistant Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, Neil Basu, Detective Chief Superintendent, Special Tactics & Operations Command for An Garda Síochána, Kevin Daly, Detective Inspector, Special Tactics & Operations Command for An Garda Síochána, Tony Ryan, and Head of Safety and Security at Tate Galleries UK, Barry Palmer were amongst the group.
Another highlight of the conference was the introduction of Spot by Peter Smyth, Bidvest Noonan Director of Technology and Innovation.
