SecuriGroup announced that Blueprint Training will be running a female only SIA Door Supervisor course from the 19th to the 23rd of June.
Trainer Rhona McFarlane will deliver the course with the goal to make all candidates feel comfortable in this unique learning environment.
Rhona will be assisted by Francis Etherson, who has long standing service with Police Scotland. Francis will give learners a valuable insight on how to build professional confidence and be a strong female leader in a fast-paced security environment.
A spokesperson from SecuriGroup said: “Recruitment is a key issue in any industry. Finding, training and then retaining the best talent is what all businesses strive to achieve. Considering the security industry is only 10% female, there is a huge, untapped market of potential candidates.”
The Level 2 Door Supervision course has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). It is based on the relevant SIA Specifications for Learning and Qualifications and provides the necessary skills and knowledge for learners who wish to apply for the SIA Licence.
The course will be held at SecuriGroup’s Glasgow office on 349 Bath St, G2 4AA.
If you are interested in taking part in the course, or know someone who is, you can get in touch with Blueprint Training at info@blueprint-training.org or via 0141 225 3848.
