BSIA said: “After a record year for entries, we were able to award over 50 officers and teams from across the UK for their commitment to keeping people, places and property safe over the last year.
“All winners will now go forward to the national finals and we look forward to announcing the winner of each category on the national stage on 21 June.”
The national British Security Awards will be given on 21 June 2023 at Grand Connaught Rooms, London.
All regional winners will now go forward to the national stage, with the full list of finalists – to include the security business categories – announced on 3 May.

From 2023 onwards, the national winner of the Best Newcomer category will receive the Gaby Hutchinson Award, named in memory of the security operative who lost their life in the Brixton Academy Incident in December 2022.
“It is our honour to be able to recognise through the British Security Awards each year the work of security officers across the United Kingdom for their role in keeping people, property and places professionally protected.
“This year’s winners should be immensely proud of their achievements, and we wish them the best of luck as they now go forward to the national finals,” Mike Reddington, Chief Executive, BSIA said.
