Football Safety Officers Association’s (FSOA) 31st Anniversary Conference and Exhibition will be held on 21-22 March 2023, at the Crowne Plaza, Stratford Upon-Avon.
Eric Stuart QPM, Chair of United Kingdom Crowd Management Association (UKCMA), will be among the line-up of speakers in the conference, who will talk about Protect Duty Update and matters affecting sports and events.
During the conference sponsored by Showsec & Dallmeier, Miriam Stone, who was Director of Operations at Manchester Arena on 22 May 2017, will tell her account of what happened that day.
Opinions of Showsec, G4S & FGH Security will be heard about the current state of the market.
Claire Worley, West Midlands CTSA, will talk about Counter Terrorism Update.
Keynote speaker will be Martyn Henderson OBE, Chief Executive of the SGSA.
The event also includes an exhibition, which is reported to have a record number of exhibitors.
The pre-conference report states: “This time around we have a record number of exhibitors ranging from those exceptional companies who have supported us for many years and have seen their business in the football and sports safety industry develop as a result to one or two new ones who have products that are becoming more and more vital to our attempts to continue to create safe places for people to watch football and other sports.”
