About LANPAC

Lancashire Partnership Against Crime (LANPAC) is a unique collaboration between Lancashire Constabulary, Lancashire Businesses and Public Services working together to reduce levels of crime and disorder across the county.

The Partnership is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee and its primary role is to support various crime prevention and community safety schemes throughout Lancashire submitted by the local police on behalf of the community.

About RAC

Founded in 1997, Retailers Against Crime (RAC) is a national, not for profit crime partnership. They help detect and prevent crime, including acts of violence by sharing information on local and travelling offenders to their members in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the North West of England.

Their specialised staff analyse offenders, identify their methods, their associates and locations targeted. This enables RAC to forewarn their members who can then detect and prevent crime before it happens. They are at the forefront in identifying and providing intelligence on organised crime groups, many of whom are involved in other criminal activities including drugs, firearms, trafficking and terrorism.
