SecuriGroup is shortlisted for 2 Scotland Excel Supplier Excellence Awards in the categories of “Community Benefits” and “Environmental Practice”.

“These nominations arrive on the back of the outstanding social value and environmental sustainability performance SecuriGroup has achieved in collaboration with our important local authority partners,” a spokesperson from SecuriGroup said.

“We thank Scotland Excel for recognising SecuriGroup and our people for their contributions.”

Other nominees in the category of “Community Benefits” are Coeval Ltd, Forth Resource Management, GavHas Services, MGM Timber (Scotland) Ltd., Sweco UK Limited, The Double A Trading Company, and The Furnishing Service.

And SecuriGroup is nominated along with Broxap Ltd, Claremont Office Furniture Ltd, Forth Resource Management, Müller Milk & Ingredients, Rearo Laminates Ltd., and Rentokil-Initial in the category of “Environmental Practices”

Scotland Excel is the Centre of Procurement Expertise for the local government sector in Scotland. Established in 2008, they are a leading public sector shared service and operate as a non-profit organisation funded by Scotland’s 32 local authorities.

Scotland Excel stated: “This year’s finalists represent the quality, diversity and sheer commitment of suppliers on our frameworks, who go above and beyond to serve communities across Scotland.” 

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow on Thursday 11 May, which will be hosted by Dougie Vipond.
