The Keyholding Company integrates with what3words

The integration will provide quicker response and pinpoint location accuracy.

The integration with what3words will enable The Keyholding Company to have even more precise locations to provide faster and smoother services for their clients thanks to the unique 3-word address assigned to every 3m square. As the company responds to callouts such as alarm activations, time is invaluable and what3words will help in eliminating any confusion for the attending officer.

The Keyholding Company is responsible for 35,000 properties, from castles to banks, palaces to factories. As the entrance locations can vary widely, the challenges may include finding entrances based on traditional postcodes.

“The implementation of what3words to the platform makes the updating of our locations quicker and easier. It also gives us greater peace of mind knowing that there can be no misinterpretation of location information, and that The Keyholding Company and partners will attend the correct location first time, every time,” said Tamzin Stobbs, Monitoring Team & Incident Manager at DeterTech, a company specialising in portable intruder detection (PID) devices, providing security solutions for construction sites, void properties, etc.

They are also developing a live tracking feature for their clients to see real-time location of an attending officer on a map within the platform. The Keyholding Company hopes to provide even more peace of mind that everything is running smoothly with the live tracking feature similar to Uber and Deliveroo.

Jonny Sharp, Senior Product Manager at The Keyholding Company, said: “This integration demonstrates how committed we are to making improvements through innovation. We are really excited to see it in action.”

The clients will benefit from simplified services by setting their property or entrance location using their existing 3-word value if they already use what3words, or automatically getting a 3-word value for the precise location of their property if they are new to what3words, which will enable any attending officer to find the property as quickly as possible.
