Paul Berhane was arrested for ‘looting’ the Co-op store in Tulse Hill, London on a daily basis.

Berhane had cleared shelves to steal goods in front of helpless store staff even while the staff was filming him.

When they tried to intervene they were threatened with violence and on one occasion Berhane threatened to stab them with a hypodermic needle stating he was HIV positive.

The TM Eye Prolific Crimes team finally caught up with him on the 24th September 2023 and detained him.

Police attended and arrested Berhane. He appeared at court the following day in custody and was sentenced to 8 weeks imprisonment.
