The second Annual Corporate Security Modernization Forum: The Talent Pipeline will be held in person on 24 March 2023 at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London.
The event, which is organised by CTG Intelligence and supported by National Protective Security Authority, The Security Institute, The Institute of Strategic Risk Management, IFPO UK & Ireland, Women in Security, and more, aims to bring together public and private security with industry associations to discuss how to improve diversity and the steps needed to attract the next generation of talent (and skills) into the Security Industry.
Morning sessions
The morning sessions will look at bringing in new talent into the industry:
During the session titled “Doing Recruitment Differently: Benefits of Changing How we Recruit and What Works for the Security Industry” Jazz Singh, Director of Early Careers, Radical Recruit; Chris Middleton, Director Major Accounts & Strategic Development, Corps Security; Olivia Dodd, Fast Stream Security Network; and Lesley Cuthill, Head of Capability & Profession, Government Security Profession will discuss how we can change/improve how we recruit with the moderation of Richard B, Head of Advice Delivery-Physical security, NPSA.
Rachel Briggs OBE, CEO, Clarity Factory will be sharing insights on their recent DE&I survey and take questions.
The Women’s Security Society will talk about associations and focus groups. The session moderated by Anna-Liisa Tampuu, Board Member, WSS comprises of Alessandra Valencic, Crime Reduction Manager, Safer Business Network; Yolanda Hamblen, Director, IFPO; Satia Rai, CEO, IPSA; and Angela Lawson, CEO, the Security Institute.
The morning will end by looking at the initiatives that are engaging with school leavers, creating and supporting entry level roles.
Moderated by Mike O’Neill CSyP FSyI CPP PSP’, Jarrod Ruth from EY Secure Futures; David Scott, Skills for Security, Claude Coleman from CIS Security Limited and Rob K. Kennedy BA (Hons), MSc, CSyP, will be discussing successes, challenges and what more can be done.
