Are you seeking your next career step where you’ll be in a brand new role, responsible for developing and reviewing security strategies?

We are looking for an individual with a vast amount of security knowledge and experience to join our team here at Derbyshire Constabulary. You’ll be overseeing security in all areas of our organisation including the estate, fleet and people. You’ll conduct site assessments and identify patterns around security risks as well as be working with senior stakeholders in force to ensure security standards are consistent.

Our Operational Security Manager will:

• Demonstrate good experience in developing strategies.
• Be able to deploy problem solving techniques and troubleshoot quick wins
• Understand threat and risk in a policing environment
• Have the expertise to provide guidance and advice around sensitive security matters
• Have a good understanding of IT systems and work independently
