Prince Harry has been in the UK attending a hearing in the high-profile privacy case against Daily Mail publisher Associated Newspapers. The lawsuit has been brought alongside Sir Elton John, Baroness Doreen Lawrence, and others.

In a clip shared on Twitter by journalist Ellie Costello from GBNews, a photographer appeared to collide with Prince Harry as he walked to the High Court in London on Monday, March 27th, 2023, having been greeted by a group of journalists.

The Home Office previously cancelled Prince Harry’s security protection, and he was told to give 28 days’ notice of his planned trips to the UK so that a full risk assessment could be carried out, as it would be a matter for the Home Office to consider whether the provision of security protection was necessary.

Prince Harry insists his family needs armed security when visiting the UK and offered to pay for police protection, but this request was declined.

According to the figures obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, it is revealed that his court case, which started in autumn 2021 against the Home Office, has already reached £296,882 to defend by the UK Government.

Former commander at the Metropolitan Police John O’Connor, told The Sun : ‘To expect protection provided by the state is arrogant and irrational’.
