UK and Türkiye strengthen cooperation in defence industry

Nurol Makina U.K. made its international debut at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) exhibition at ExCeL London between 12 to 15 September 2023.

The company has already been working towards becoming an integral part of the UK defence industry and to achieve this, it has been actively collaborating with local firms and integrating their technologies and products into Nurol Makina vehicles.

Notably, Nurol Makina has signed a cooperation agreement with the British company NP Aerospace, renowned for providing armored vehicle modernization solutions to the British Army, according to the report of Daily Sabah.

Engin Aykol CEO/General Manager of Nurol Makina and NP Aerospace Managing Director David Petheram signed an MOA in the presence of H.E. James Cartlidge MP, Minister for Defence Procurement, UK Government H.E. Jill Morris, British Ambassador to Türkiye and Oğuz Çarmıklı, Vice Chairman of Board of Nurol Holding at IDEF 2023 which took place at Tüyap İstanbul Fair and Congress Center between 25 to 28 July 2023.

Engin Aykol also announced the establishment of Nurol Makina UK during the signing ceremony.

The new venture aims to support the British Army and provide services to third countries from the UK.

Their primary focus will be the design, development, and production of 4X4 armored vehicles, creating local employment opportunities.
