Footage of the horrifying attack of a gang of men with machetes shocked the viewers online.

The footage shows a man being brutally attacked by four others with machetes.

A 22 year-old was found critically injured in Cardcross Court, Glasgow on Tuesday evening, 30 May.

He is fighting for life after the brutal machete attack, a 27-year-old suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and a police investigation continues in search of other suspects, according to reports.

The scene remains cordoned off by police and police officers can be seen standing guard at a block of flats and around the area.

22-year-old was attacked in broad daylight by a gang of men carrying large bladed weapons at around 8:20 pm.

Emergency services then raced to the scene and the man was taken to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

His condition is being described as critical by medics.
